India is coming to its end. Feels quite alright. Miss Sweden and most of all Im missing having a home and the friends.
Also miss making paintings and making a mess with alot of colors. When I get back Im gonna buy a huuuuge canvas and a bottle of wine and strand myself on the balcony for at least one day, thats for sure.

We bought a couple of spray cans that we havnt used yet eather. Found a car wreck that looked suitable for molestation that might be pimped tomorrow.

Last picture is the african lady that I made on a bus in Nepal, still not finnished. But she has some more colors now anyway.

Ive been trying to draw a beautiful flawless woman face quite a few times recently, with long shiny locks and dashing lashes. But somehow they all end up being crooked unsymmetrical faces with monstrous eyes that stares back at me from the paper when Im finished.

When I was younger I always used to draw monsters and my mother always asked me why I always drew such ugly unappealing drawings  hence to beautiful ones.
But they where appealing to me. I always found beauty in the ugly I guess.

Eventhough Im sort of a hypocrite when in my everyday life I love looking at pictures of beautiful people, painting my nails, looking in magazines and indulging in the patterns and the colours and wearing long flowery dresses and so on.

For a long time Ive tried to decide what beauty is to me, but truth to be told I dont know.
I guess its when you can transfer an emotion in a gracious way.
Usually I hate when people are all over pretentious and have a book long description of all their art. Cus I dont.

But somtimes I stop and think what the hell Im doing and what the meaning is of all this.
When it comes down to it everything is so simple really.
I like it, it makes me happy and somtimes it makes other people happy aswell.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say...

Just arrived back to South India from crazy  and hysterical Varanasi after  two and a half days on a train.
We did this in order to attend one of our friends art fair called Artish that she arranged for the first time in India!
I got to participate with my watercolor drawings too and even had one guy interested in buying stuff (While I was away of course) Im a rubbish salesman, always gets drunk and loose my interest in standing by the sales table so when finally someone wants to buy stuff Im never there. Happened before..

Oh well, My lovely sister just confirmed that she will be arriving in India in about two weeks time and join us the last two before we head back to Sweden. And Im really excited!

Have a lot more pictures to show but Ill post them in the next entry!
